This seminar series has a twofold objective. First, it seeks to explore the role that hermeneutics, broadly understood, continues to play in contemporary science, technology, and philosophy. Second, it aims to examine how theories of interpretation are being reshaped in the digital age, and how emerging technologies and recent scientific developments are transforming the ways in which we make sense of the world. To this end, the seminar series offers a forum for critical reflection on these issues.
The seminar series will be held in person at Sala Martinetti, Department of Philosophy “Piero Martinetti” (Via Festa del Perdono 7). Everyone is welcome to attend.
Organisers: Carmine Di Martino and Roberto Redaelli.
