Enrico Campo

Enrico Campo is Assistant Professor (RTT) of Sociology at the Department of Philosophy, University of Milan, where he teaches Sociological Theory. His research focuses on social theory, sociology of knowledge, and science and technology studies. In recent years, he has worked on the sociology of attention, digital society, and the social production of scientific knowledge.

He is the author of Attention and its Crisis in Digital Society (Routledge, 2022) and co-editor, with Yves Citton, of Politics of Curiosities: Alternatives to the Attention Economy (Routledge, 2024). More recently, he co-edited, with Andrea Borghini and Luca Corchia, the special issue Power of Infrastructures, Infrastructures of Power for the Journal of Classical Sociology (2025).
