Read moreThe Center’s research lines are structured around three thematic macro-areas:
The areas are designed to encompass different disciplinary fields and overcome their limitations.
On the one hand, they identify the individual research fields of the members: KL is represented by members whose individual research is mainly in Logic, History and Philosophy of Science, Metaphysics and Philosophy of Language; SV directly identifies research in Moral Philosophy, Anthropology, Sociology and Epistemology; IE refers to Media and Art Theory and Pedagogy.
On the other hand, beyond disciplinary boundaries, these areas refer to formal and conceptual models of ethical values in technology; to techniques for developing, disseminating and learning new technological artefacts in social contexts; to the role of language in the new media society, and so on.
This list is neither exhaustive nor conclusive of the Center’s research interests.
