Roberto Redaelli

Roberto Redaelli is Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Philosophy “Piero Martinetti” of the University of Milan and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Pavia, where he teaches Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. He is also Visiting Fellow at the Department of Philosophy, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. His research interests include neo-Kantian philosophy, philosophical anthropology, postphenomenology, ethics and philosophy of technology. In the field of philosophy of technology, Roberto’s most recent work investigates the moral status of artificial intelligence systems from the perspective of technological intentionality as preter-intentionality and digital normativity as quasi-normativity.
