Rosa Cinelli is a PhD student in Philosophy and Human Sciences at the University of Milan and at the Université Côte d’Azur. In Milan, she is a member of the ERC Advanced research project ‘An-Iconology. History, Theories and Practices of Environmental Images’, and in Cannes she is part of the PhD Lab of the XR2C2 Extended Reality Media Research and Creation Centre.

Her research focuses on the mutations of the epistemological paradigm of visual evidence as it is framed by forensic visual culture in postphotographic and immersive visual regimes. She is also interested in the hybridisation of artificial intelligence and the photographic medium, from a mediological and media-archaeological perspective.
